1990 trek 930 into touring commuter and offride cruiser

so im going to go with the moustache bars i already own and the technomic stem i previously bought that didnt work out. im opting away from drop bars, although i find them super comfy. i can always swap the bars later, since the moustache uses road levers and shifters.

to keep things on the cheap im going to prodeal and use cheaper, friction-only components.

Cane Creek SCR-5 Road Brake Levers (DC-4407 for the black ones)

Should msrp for $30 ish or so.

Falcon Friction Shifters.

These should mount anywhere on the handlebars, even road diameter. Not indexed, but who gives a damn? Probably most people, but surely not me. $10 from velo orange, $13 from Rivendell. Both include cables and housing.

Front Cable Stop
$4, from anywhere.

Bar tape, one for me, one for Leah:
Deda Elementi / Tre Poly-MCU handlebar tape, celeste green (DE-7120)
Deda Elementi / Tre Poly-MCU handlebar tape, light blue (DE-7129)

should be something in the ballpark of $35 or so.

Going crazy I could get the barend shifters that REI already ordered for me and are like $60 after the discount.

then fun things! pedals, brooks saddle, that type of thing.
